Gun safety program announced by Oakland County officials

At a press conference on Tuesday, members of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners’ Public Services Committee’s Curbing Gun Violence Study Group, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, and the National Project ChildSafe/National Shooting Sports Foundation organization, along with more than 30 law enforcement agencies from Oakland County and the Oakland County Board of Commissioners announced the Friday, June 5, Gun Safety Awareness Day and Free Gun Safety Lock Giveaway program. This is the second annual Gun Safety Awareness Day established by the Board of Commissioners.
