Man charged with making threats against local judge

MOUNT CLEMENS (AP) - A man has been charged with making bomb and death threats against a Macomb County judge.

Keith Rebar of Washington Township is accused of threatening to place bombs under Judge Katherine Viviano's car if he didn't get favorable rulings in a child custody case.

The 55-year-old is charged with making a false report or threat of terrorism. No attorney has been assigned yet to Rebar. He was ordered to jail last Thursday on $100,000 bond.

Viviano is the sister of Michigan Supreme Court Justice David Viviano.
