The Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association will host its 2016 Judges Banquet and Golf/Tennis Outing on Monday, Aug. 22, at Wabeek Country Club, 4000 Clubgate Drive in Bloomfield Hills.
The Golf & Banquet combo costs $160 a player. Registration and practice begin at 11 a.m. and a lunch buffet will be concurrently served in the ballroom. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. The format will again be a scramble tournament with prizes for lowest overall score, closest to the pin, and longest drive. Included in this package are a cart, complimentary beer, beverages, and snacks throughout the course.
The Tennis & Banquet combo costs $100 a player. Registration and practice begins at 11 a.m. while a lunch buffet is served in the ballroom. Players should bring their own racquet. Tournament starts at 1 p.m. with prizes.
The Banquet Only option costs $55 a person. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at 6 p.m. in the Wabeek Clubhouse followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The buffet includes a beef tenderloin carving station, a fish selection, and vegetarian pasta.
Awards and presentation of the MIPLA donation to the Theodore Levin Foundation will follow dinner.
