Golf outing and seminar planned by MAJ Sept. 17

The Michigan Association for Justice will host the the Legends of Litigation Seminar and the 11th Annual Justice Cup Golf Outing on Monday, Sept. 17, at at Travis Pointe Country Club, 2829 Travis Pointe Rd. in Ann Arbor.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Legends of Litigation panel at 9 a.m. The panel includes Richard Goodman, Goodman & Kalahar; Barry Waldman, Sachs Waldman PC; Shel Miller; David W. Christensen, Charfoos & Christensen PC; and Bob Zeff, Zeff & Zeff, PC.

The Judges Panel, including Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Brock Swartzle, takes over at 11 a.m.

Lunch is served at noon, followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Cocktails at 5:30 p.m. preceed dinner and awards at 6 p.m.

The cost to attend the seminar is $75 for MAJ members, $60 for MAJ members practicing less than 5 years and for sustaining members, and $170 for non-members. The cost to attend the seminar if golfing is $50 for MAJ members, $30 for MAJ members practicing less than 5 years and for sustaining members, and $120 for non-members. There is no cost for judges to attend the seminar or to golf. The cost to golf is $150 for individuals and $600 for foursomes. Register at www.michiganjustice.org.
