The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will host its “Young (and Future) Lawyers Summer Soirée” on Wednesday, August 3, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the law offices of Barris, Sott, Denn, & Driker PLLC, 333 W. Fort St., Suite 1200, in Detroit.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Federal Bar Association and join fellow young lawyers from law firms, the U.S. Attorney and the Public Defender’s Office, and law students/summer interns (from firms and the court) at this networking event.
The Soirée is free for FBA members and $40 for non-members (note that chapter membership is free for law students and for lawyers who passed the bar less than 5 years ago; junior chapter memberships are available for $75; the federal clerk membership fee is $25).
