Seminar by OCBA asks 'Got Conservatorship?'

The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will present "Got Conservatorship?" on Thursday, May 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.

The national recession/depression has given rise to increased amounts of financial overreaching among the aged, young and mentally ill by family, friends and third parties.

Attorneys can protect their clients' financial interests by understanding conservatorships and protective orders. This interactive, practical, nuts-and-bolts-style seminar is designed for practitioners of ever experience level.

Speakers include Oakland County Probate Court Judge Daniel A. O'Brien, Dawn M. Patterson of First American Title Insurance Company, and Joseph M. Migliore Jr. of Joseph M. Migliore Jr. Attorney and Counselor At Law.

The cost for pre-registering OCBA members who have been in practice for less than 5 years is $20 and $40 for those who have been in practice for more than 6 years. For OCBA members paying at the door the cost is $55. Non-OCBA members who pre-register pay $55 and $70 if registering at the door.
