The Jackson Area Transportation Authority celebrated Rider Appreciation Week, May 15-19, in conjunction with National Transportation Week. The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce kicked off the week with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on May 15 at the Downtown Jackson Transfer Center. Various community partners, including Consumers Energy, Blue Ox Credit Union, American 1 Credit Union, AWARE, Home of New Vision, 106.9 Home.FM, and JTV, passed out information, engaged with riders, and raffled off prizes.
