Runners and walkers took part in the 37th annual Race Judicata organized by the Oakland County Bar Association on Sunday, September 18, at Covington Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Dean & Fulkerson was the lead sponsor of the event, while Harness, Dickey, & Pierce along with Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer, & Weiss were supporting sponsors. A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to the Frank C. Perez Youth Fund.
Forum
A judicial candidate forum featuring the candidates for Oakland County 52-1 District Court was conducted Monday, September 12, at the Wixom Community Center. The forum was open to the public and was video recorded so that it may be aired on local cable channels. As soon as the recording is available, it is loaded on the OCBA’s YouTube page at http://bit.ly/OCBAYouTube. Additionally, all candidates have been asked to complete a Judicial Candidate Questionnaire. The completed questionnaires are available on the OCBA website at www.ocba.org/judicial-candidate-forum/.
