The WLAM Washtenaw Region softball game and picnic last Thursday was rained out but a hardy few turned up for some batting practice. . . including Amy Reiser’s son, Nicholas, above. After Nicholas picked up a plastic bat, everyone expected him to take a few swings. Instead, he began imitating a weight lifter even providing the appropriate sounds. No one knew why and Nicholas didn’t say.
