The Muskegon County 60th District Court if offering an amnesty program for unpaid fines and costs from April 26 to April 30, 2010.
The court recently announced for those who pay their fines and court costs in person, by mail, or credit card during the last week of April, the court will waive the twenty percent late fee.
Further, people who also are wanted on bench warrants for failing to pay fines and costs are included in the amnesty program, and will have no threat of arrest if they take care of their outstanding fines and costs due in full.
The amnesty program will run from Monday, April 26 to Friday, April 30, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
