Lisa M. Pohl joins Miller Canfield
Miller Canfield announces that state and local tax lawyer Lisa M. Pohl has joined the law firm as a senior attorney in the Litigation and Trial Group in the Grand Rapids, Michigan office. She will specialize in state and local taxation. She joins the firm from Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the largest public accounting firms in the U.S.
Pohl has over 12 years of state income/franchise and sales and use tax experience.
Her practice includes income/franchise representation; sales and use tax research; income/franchise tax re-
search; transactional and
structural analysis and planning; savings review for state and local income taxes; and reviews of multistate income/franchise tax returns.
Pohl is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, in the state of Ohio, and is a member of the American Bar Association.
She received her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and her B.B.A from Baker College. She currently serves on the Cooley Board of Alumni Directors. She resides in Allendale, Michigan.
