Common Ground and Oakland Mediation Center have partnered to offer four legal seminars on Thursdays during October:
All seminars are presented by attorneys, are free of charge, and begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakland Mediation Center, 550 Hulet Drive, Suite 102, Bloomfield Hills.
Each event includes a presentation from a representative of the Oakland Mediation Center on their services and the mediation process.
The series will kick off on Oct. 7 with a program on probate, estate planning and elder law. The following week, on Oct. 14, a program on family law will be presented.
The series continues on Oct. 21 with a presentation on bankruptcy.
On Oct. 28, the series will conclude with a discussion on collections and garnishment.

Common Ground is a nonprofit agency that over the past 40 years has helped people in crisis, crime victims, individuals with mental illness, those coping with critical situations, and runaway and homeless youth.
