CLS holds 'Evening of Reflection'

The Catholic Lawyers Society (CLS) hosted a “Lenten Evening of Reflection” at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.  Among those taking part in the evening were (left to right) CLS Treasurer Steven Grobbel of Bellanca, Beattie, & De Lisle PC; Matthew Dawson, law clerk to Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Christopher Murray; Mike Condit of Condit, McGarry, Schloff, & Graham; CLS President Patricia Rossi Galvin; Edward Peters; retired Judge Paul Teranes of Garber & Mayers PLLC; Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Christopher Murray; Grosse Pointe attorney Jane Sullivan Colombo; Assistant U.S.  Attorney Terry Berg; and CLS Vice President Saulius  Polteraitis of Foley, Baron, & Metzger PLLC.  Edward Peters, who is the Edmund Cardinal Szoka Chair at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, provided a look at the difference between cannon and civil law.
