Opera Grand Rapids elects Brady as vice president
Dykema Gossett PLLC announced today that Office Managing Member of the firm’s Grand Rapids office, James S. Brady, has been elected to serve as Vice President of Opera Grand Rapids for the company’s 2011-2012 fiscal year. Brady assumes his new role following six years serving on the Board of Trustees and as chair of the Board Development Committee.
Opera Grand Rapids is one of West Michigan’s preeminent cultural and art forums. The organization is one of two opera companies in Michigan and has been West Michigan’s only resident and professional opera company since 1967. Each season the company produces three main stage productions utilizing a regional chorus, the Grand Rapids Symphony and young, up-and-coming national talent. Since 2010, Opera Grand Rapids has been resident in The Betty Van Andel Opera Center, its first permanent home and the country’s first green opera center.
Brady, who is a lifetime Grand Rapids resident and community supporter, is leader of Dykema’s national white collar practice area. His practice is concentrated in the areas of business and commercial litigation, white collar investigations, criminal law, health care fraud and environmental and energy law. He represents clients from various business entities, executives, medical professionals and other individuals in criminal matters involving a wide array of corporate, government and individual crimes.
Brady is also listed in Who’s Who in America, is recognized by Law & Politics as a Michigan Super Lawyer, and by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Lawyer.
