Nearly 50 Wayne Law Review students recently joined representatives from Wayne State University Law School’s Career Services Office for a bus tour of seven Detroit law firms. The event, which included stops at Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, and Cohn LLP (pictured); Dickinson Wright PLLC; Kerr, Russell, and Weber PLC; Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone PLC; Butzel Long; Dykema Gossett PLLC; and Bodman PLC, was designed to introduce the newest members of the Law Review to the large law firms that will be recruiting on campus this fall. “Our goal is to prepare students and provide them with as many employment opportunities as possible,” said Kathy Fox, director of Employer Development. “It was a very successful event, with each firm providing anywhere from four to ten attorneys to meet with our students. The event enabled our students to learn about each firm prior to on-campus interviews and allowed students to gain additional insight into the interview process.”
