Michigan woman named president of Million Dollar Round Table Foundation
Barbara Pietrangelo, CFP, ChFC, of Ada, has been named the 2011–2012 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation President. Pietrangelo is a 13-year MDRT member with seven Court of the Table honors. She will be the 46th MDRT Foundation President.
The MDRT Foundation is the philanthropic arm of MDRT, an association of nearly 36,000 financial professionals from 78 countries. Pietrangelo’s primary goal as President of the Foundation is to encourage more MDRT members to get involved in the organization’s grant programs, which provides them with an opportunity to secure funds for charities in their own communities. She will also encourage members to support the fundraising efforts of the Foundation and become volunteers for this organization.
“I am privileged to serve as President of the MDRT Foundation, and I look forward to working with our members to expand our mission and help even more people in need,” said Pietrangelo.
Pietrangelo is also a dedicated volunteer in her community and has devoted her time to the Spiritual Care Consultants counseling agency, and The Green Gables Haven homeless shelter for women and children. She is also involved in her local Kiwanis Club.
“Barb is committed to improving the lives of others, and we are honored to have her as the MDRT Foundation President,” said MDRT President, Jennifer A. Borislow, CLU. “Barb’s tireless efforts will help us continue to harness the power of thousands of MDRT members in order to make a difference...”
Founded in 1927, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, is an international, independent association of nearly 36,000 leading life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 430 companies in 78 countries.
