Lending a helping hand

The women at Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer, & Weiss PC made a fashion statement recently for the benefit of Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire” and a network of support. Those attending the Women’s Wine & Cheese Series at Jaffe that night were asked to bring in gently used suits, coordinates or accessories to support Dress for Success. The result was a rack of stylish clothing items admired by (clockwise from front left) Shirley Kaigler, Sarah Weston, Julianne Sharp, Minnie Johnson, Patrice Arend, Pamela Lewis, and Sandra Kent. “We want to thank everyone who helped make our drive a success by donating attire for the Dress for Success Michigan program,” said Sue Robinson, marketing coordinator for Jaffe. “All of the great items that were collected will help many disadvantaged women return to or enter the workforce feeling confident.”
