Warner Norcross names new partners
Warner Norcross & Judd LLP announced that it has named seven attorneys from its Grand Rapids office as partners.
“We are very pleased to welcome these seven deserving attorneys into the partnership,” said Douglas E. Wagner, Warner Norcross managing partner. “They are exemplary lawyers who have served their clients - and the law firm - well during their tenure with us.”
The new partners are: Michael J. Jones concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, and corporate finance. Named a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers, his undergraduate degree is from Univ. of Michigan and his J.D., magna cum laude, is from Wayne State Univ. Law School, where he was Order of the Coif and senior articles editor for The Wayne Law Review.
Gregory M. Kilby focuses his litigation practice on general commercial, employment and securities defense. He too has been named a Rising Star. He holds an undergraduate degree from Hope College cum laude and his doctor of jurisprudence from Univ. of Miami School of Law cum laude, where he was part of the University of Miami Law Review editorial staff.
Jonathan E. Moore concentrates his practice in litigation, with an emphasis in commercial, securities and corporate governance and electronic discovery. He holds an undergrad degree from Wheaton College cum laude and a J.D. from the Univ. of Virginia School of Law; he was articles editor for Virginia Tax Review.
Daniel C. Persinger has a practice in public company securities law, mergers/acquisitions, commercial contracts and general corporate matters. He holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard Univ. cum laude, and his J.D. from the U of M Law School magna cum laude, where he was Order of the Coif.
Joe Sadler concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, trademark and copyright disputes, and insurance counseling and recovery. He holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana Univ. cum laude and doctor of jurisprudence from the Univ. of Illinois College of Law cum laude.
Dustin H. Shunta centrates his practice in technology and IP law, focusing on patents, patent prosecution and portfolio management. He holds two undergrad degrees from Michigan State Univ., one in electrical engineering and one in computer science, and his JD from DePaul Univ. College of Law.
Justin W. Stemple focuses his employee benefits practice on qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans and executive compensation. His undergrad degree was from Alma College magna cum laude and his J.D. was from William and Mary Law School, where he was Order of the Coif.
