Warner Norcross sponsors app for LaughFest
The LaughFest App is now available for download – thanks to the law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, which is sponsoring the event’s first-ever mobile app.
Available for download on the Apple and Android platforms, this free app gives users all the details on LaughFest, the nation’s first community-wide festival of laughter, benefiting the programs of Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids. LaughFest, scheduled to run March 8-18, will bring in over 60 artists who will provide more than 200 free and ticketed shows.
The app, which installs quickly and easily, provides the latest news, schedule and information. Users can view events, manage their schedule and learn more about artists.
“We have always been firmly committed to supporting events that shape the lives of the communities where we live and work,” said Douglas E. Wagner, managing partner for Warner Norcross. “In addition to our financial and volunteer support of LaughFest, which has jumpstarted important conversations about the healing nature of laughter, we are pleased to sponsor the event app. As one of the state’s most technologically innovative law firms, this seemed a natural extension of our commitment to this incredible community event.”
Last fall, Warner Norcross co-sponsored the app for ArtPrize, the radically open art competition that gives away the world’s largest art prize. The ArtPrize app made it easy to vote for artists, as well as helping users locate venues, learn more about artists and keep track of their votes.
