Ann Romney to join J.C. Watts in Jackson Feb. 20
Ann Romney, wife of Republican Presidential front-runner Mitt Romney, will speak at the 2012 Lincoln Day event on Monday, Feb. 20 at the Jackson Community College Space Center, 2111 Emmons Rd.
She will join former Oklahoma Congressman J.C. Watts at the event.
''This is a huge win for Jackson to also have Ann Romney at our Lincoln Day Dinner,'' said Hank Choate, Chairman of the Jackson County Republican Party. ''This is a strong indication of how the state and national party have recognized the growing prominence of Jackson's Republican Party. Ann Romney is a dynamic speaker in her own right and will bring great energy to Jackson Republicans about her husband's candidacy for president.''
''Having two high profile speakers like Congressman Watts and Ann Romney is a real blessing to our area,'' said State Representative Earl Poleski. ''They have both indicated excitement about reinforcing this year's theme of why this year's election is so important to America.''
Romney previously visited Jackson in November 2007 for a Jackson County Republicans fundraiser.
Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. and the dinner starts at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets for the dinner are $75 per person and are available for purchase on the Jackson County Republican website at www.jacksonrepublicans.com
