'Defending Jacob' discussed

The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, recently hosted a Book Club discussion on the novel “Defending Jacob” by William Landay. The author was able to take part in the discussion via video-conferencing at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit.  Among those greeting Landay were Book Club Committee Co-chair Erica Fitzgerald of Barris, Sott, Denn, & Driker PLLC; and Book Club Committee Co-chair Andrew Doctoroff of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, & Cohn LLP.  Landay’s novel tells the story of a prosecutor defending his 14-year-old son who has been accused of murdering a classmate.
