Attorney to speak at HR forum
Butzel Long attorney and shareholder Robert A. Boonin, a frequent speaker on labor and employment matters, will be a featured speaker during Michigan HR Day on June 13 in Lansing.
The title of his presentation is: "Capitol Hills' Updates: What's Pending in DC and Lansing on the Employment Law Front?"
Michigan HR Day evolved as an opportunity to connect human resources professionals in Michigan and create a forum to exchange information, ideas and experiences.
"This program attracts nearly 1,000 HR professionals from across the state, " said Boonin, in a statement. "The strong content appears to account for its popularity."
Based in Butzel Long's Ann Arbor office, Boonin's law practice is largely concentrated in the areas of labor, employment discrimination and education law. He has represented public and private sector clients across the country, in more than 30 jurisdictions, in wrongful termination, employment discrimination, wage and hour, tenure proceedings and other employment-related lawsuits and claims, as well as in labor grievance arbitrations, labor negotiations, unfair labor practices and representational proceedings and labor strikes.
