'Pro-'tech'-tion

The U.S. Attorney’s Office presented a seminar on “Protecting Michigan’s Technology” on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Schoolcraft College VisTaTech Center in Livonia. Taking part in the program were (l-r) Assistant U.S. Attorney Ross MacKenzie, head of Complex Crimes Unit; David Behen, chief information officer for State of Michigan; and Conway Jeffress, Schoolcraft College president. The program was put on by both the Eastern and Western Districts of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. “It’s designed to educate Michigan industry leaders on how to protect their technology,” said MacKenzie. “Our focus today is going to be particularly on theft of trade secrets, counterfeit parts, and some intellectual property.”
