The firm earned a national ranking in the areas of bankruptcy/creditor debtor rights, environmental law and regulatory enforcement litigation. In addition, three of the firm’s offices received top-tier ratings in multiple practice areas. Criteria for inclusion included firm practice areas, expertise, responsiveness, integrity, litigation and major legal matters, cost-effectiveness, pro-bono commitment, diversity and others.
Best Lawyers, which also produces the industry’s leading annual peer review of attorneys, teamed with U.S. News & World Report to conduct extensive surveys of thousands of clients, attorneys and law firm staff to produce the rankings. Attorneys from each of the firm’s six offices, along with staff from marketing, recruiting, retention and related areas, participated in the survey. Additionally, firm clients, associates and summer associates were surveyed.
Warner Norcross also has 93 attorneys listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2013 – more than any law firm in Grand Rapids, Holland or Muskegon. Attorneys from each of the firm’s six offices were featured in the 2013 listings, which were released earlier this year.
