In what has become a popular holiday tradition, about 100 women and a handful of men attended the WLAM Holiday Party at the downtown condo of Ann Arbor attorney Nora Wright last week. “My home is filled with the most interesting, intelligent, and wonderful women that I know and wish I could spend more time with over the year,” says Wright, “but at least for one night in December we get to spend it together and celebrate each other and be happy that we have such great people to work with. ” Each year, the group honors a member for her leadership, talent, and significant contributions to women. This year, the honoree was Bridget McCormack, who was recently elected to the Michigan Supreme Court. McCormack is a professor at the University of Michigan Law School.
