from Michigan Asociation for Justice
The Michigan Association for Justice will host a Workers’ Compensation/ Social Security seminar in mid-January. MAJ is fortunate to have so many talented presenters, including two nationally recognized legislative reform and advocacy experts: Richard J. Swanson, Macey Swanson & Allman, Indianapolis, Indiana and Henry Patterson, Patterson Harkavy LLP, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The event will take place at the Westin Hotel, 1500 Town Center, Southfield, MI 48075, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 18, with registration at 8:30 a.m.
The Michigan Association for Justice is very excited to have its members and other interested people hear the line-up of skilled presenters committed to this important event. Lisa Welton, Law Offices of Lisa A. Welton, Southfield, Jeff Appel, Law Offices of Jefferey S. Appel, Southfield, and Robert MacDonald, MacDonald FitzGerald and MacDonald, P.C. will all co-moderate the event.
The topics are far-reaching, and will include: an update from the WC Agency, issue updates on topics from proving disability to agency form compliance, and legislative updates about changes that have taken place over the past year. This seminar is a great opportunity to learn, meet other practitioners, and get a broader view of the changes happening in Michigan and around the country.
