The Book Club of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, recently conducted a discussion on “A Thousand Times More Fair: What Shakespeare’s Plays Teach Us About Justice” by Kenji Yoshino. Wayne State University Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies Kenneth Samuel Jackson (back, center) led the discussion which focused on Shakespeare’s “Merchant of Venice” and Measure by Measure.” Welcoming Jackson to the event at the T. Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit were (left to right) Martin Reisig, Kelly Rimmer, Andrew Doctoroff, Maria Jai, U.S. District Judge Gershwin Drain, Erica Fitzgerald, retired Judge Fred Mester, Jason Abel, Patrick McClain, Latoya Palmer, U.S. District Magistrate Judge Mona Majzoub, Dona Tracey and U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn.
