The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, U.S. Bankruptcy Court and Access to Bankruptcy Court continued the “Getting Through It: Bankruptcy Basics” program recently at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Detroit. Among those taking part in the program were (left to right) Patty Klavon, Peter Tomasek and Alesia Dobbins of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. “We are putting on the ‘Bankruptcy Basics’ seminar so folks who may be filing, and of course facing financial difficulties, can be informed about filing,” said John Zevalking (not pictured), visiting professor at Cooley Law School. Access to Bankruptcy is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal representation to low income consumer debtors filing for bankruptcy.
