'Leaders in the Law' honored

Three Cooley Law School graduates were recently honored by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as Leaders in the Law. The honorees included (left to right) Lawrence Nolan (Cooley Class, 1976), Angela Kay Sherigan (Blair Jr. Class, 2001) and Brian Potestivo (Douglass Class, 1989). They were among 30 members of the state’s legal community honored as leaders and nominated for MLW’s 2013 Lawyer of the Year award.  Nolan, a litigator in Eaton Rapids, is chairman of the board of directors at Cooley. He is also a past president of the State Bar of Michigan. Sherigan is a managing partner with Wojnecka & Sherigan PC in Shelby Township, an associate judge with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, and president of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. Potestivo is the founder and president of Potestivo & Associates PC in Rochester Hills, Grand Rapids and Chicago.
