To help attorneys figure out how to utilize iPads to their maximum potential, the State Bar of Michigan Practice Management Resource Center will host two seminars on Thursday, June 27 at the Lansing Community College West Campus Auditorium at 5708 Cornerstone Drive.
The first seminar, “Winning Ways — The iPad Litigator,” will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
Tech expert Brett Burney will show attorneys how to use their iPads for taking notes at initial client meetings, loading documents to the iPad, conducting legal research on the iPad, and how to create and present a high tech closing argument.
The second seminar, “the ABCs of eDiscovery,” will be held from 12:45-4:15 p.m.
Tech expert Brett Burney will teach attorneys how become better at eDiscovery by gathering the right data, processing it quickly and efficiently, and presenting it effectively and appropriately.
Individual seminars cost $65, or sign up for both for $120 (lunch is included for those who attend both seminars).
