Richard Mills was elected president of the Jackson County Bar Association at the JCBA's annual board meeting recently.
Mills replaces Rebecca Arnold, who has stepped down as president, but will continue to assist the board with various projects.
Jennifer Walker was re-elected as vice president, while Jake Dickerson, was re-elected treasurer and Katie Branigan, secretary. Angela Wetherby was elected second vice president.
Representative Earl Poleski spoke to the group.
