The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, along with The Rutter Group and Thomson Reuters, recently presented a seminar titled “Getting In and Out of Federal Court—New Rules, New Solutions.” The program at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit featured speakers (left to right) U.S. District Court Judge David M. Lawson, Eastern District of Michigan; U.S. District Court Chief Judge Gerald E. Rosen, Eastern District of Michigan; and Thomas W. Cranmer of Miller, Canfield, Paddock, & Stone PLC.  This is our annual continuing legal education program on cutting edge issues in federal civil procedure and evidence law,” Rosen noted.
