Schuette announces Solicitor General John Bursch will return to private practice
Attorney General Bill Schuette announced Wednesday that Michigan Solicitor General John Bursch is departing the Attorney General’s Office to return to private practice this December.
“I will miss John’s advice and counsel immensely. John and his wife Angela are wonderful friends, and I understand his responsibilities to his wife and children. I wish John and his family nothing but the best,” said Schuette.
“It has truly been an honor for me to work with Attorney General Schuette and to represent the People of the great State of Michigan,” said Bursch. “I sincerely thank Attorney General Schuette for putting his trust in me and also offer my thanks to the hard-working team of attorneys and staff who made our successes on behalf of the People of Michigan possible.”
