 Applications for U.S. Magistrate Judge being accepted

The Judicial Conference of the United States has authorized the appointment of a full-time United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Michigan at Grand Rapids, Michigan. Applications must be submitted only by applicants personally and must be received by close of business on Dec. 3, 2013.

Warner Norcross welcomes five new attorneys

Warner Norcross & Judd LLP welcomed five new attorneys at the end of October, all admitted to the Michigan bar. They are:
 
Racheal E. Fox, who received her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law magna cum laude and a B.A. in history and political science from the University of Michigan. 

Amy L. Fredrickson, who received her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School cum laude where she was Order of the Coif and executive articles editor of The Wayne Law Review. She holds a B.A. with honors in international relations from Michigan State.  She served as an intern for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Marilyn Kelly and as a consultant for Consulting Services Support Corp. in Troy. 

Patrick M. Gunton, who received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School magna cum laude where he was Order of the Coif and an assistant editor/editorial board member of The Wayne Law Review. He has a B.A. in history from U of M and a secondary-education teaching certificate from Oakland University. He served as a legal intern with auto supplier Robert Bosch.
 
Kelly R. Hollingsworth, who received her law degree cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law where she was an associate editor of the Northwestern Law Review.  She received a B.A. in advertising/
public relations from Michigan State. She served as extern for the Hon. Edmond Chang, U.S. District Court, Northern District of IL, and is a certified mediator.
 
Ford J. Turrell, who received his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law summa cum laude where he was articles editor for the Michigan State Law Review.  Turrell holds an M.A. in conflict analysis/engagement from Antioch University and a B.A. in communications from Aquinas College.  He was law clerk for the Hon. David W. McKeague, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
