It's a family affair as judge swears in granddaughter

It was a family affair November 15 when U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Damon J. Keithperformed a swearing in ceremony for his granddaughter, Nia Keith Brown, a new attorney from Chicago. The ceremony, witnessed by Wayne County Probate Judge Terrance Keith, came on the heels of a luncheon earlier in the day celebrating the release of Judge Damon Keith’s new book, “Crusader for Justice.” His granddaughter is a magna cum laude graduate of Spellman College, and now is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals following the swearing in ceremony.
