Constance Jones announces candidacy for judge

Ann Arbor attorney Constance L. Jones has announced her candidacy for Washtenaw County Probate Court Judge.

Jones, a 1987 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, has been in private practice for 26 years. She spent two years clerking in the federal court, four years at UAW Legal Services, and the past 20 years in a private practice in Ann Arbor working in general family law. For the past 15 years, she has specialized in probate law.
Jones has also worked as an appointed attorney in the juvenile court, served on the Ozone House Board of Directors for 10 years, and worked with many other non-profit organizations, including those devoted to elder law, women’s issues, and children.
She is seeking the seat that will be left vacant by the retirement of Probate Judge Nancy Wheeler.
The primary election in August of 2014 will be followed by the general election in November.
