New online tool shows people how to cut debts

People trying to get a handle on their finances now have access to a free online tool that can help.

The Financial Crisis Analyzer at www.financialanalyzer.net/ lets users plug in details about monthly bills such as mortgages or credit cards and ultimately offers options to help reduce debt. It is the brainchild of Bingham Farms attorney Ken Gross.

“It’s working well -- people seem to be taking advantage of the free program,” said Gross, who is also the author of “Dump Your Debt.”  “This can be a first step toward not only paying down debt, but getting one’s finances in order for the long term.”

After an individual completes the online form, an analysis is provided with recommended next steps.

Gross will host a free seminar Feb. 25 on a similar subject. “How to Eliminate Your Debt and Build Wealth” will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. at the law office, 30150 Telegraph Road, Suite 360 in Bingham Farms, MI. As part of the analyzer’s introduction, attendees receive a free copy of “Dump Your Debt.”

Beyond his legal work, Gross opines on these and other financial matters on his weekly talk show, “Financial Crisis Talk Center,” which airs on WDFN 1130 AM from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturdays and the TV show is on MyTV20 on Sundays at 11 a.m. A graduate of Wayne State University’s Law School, Gross also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from WSU.
