The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, Macomb Region, recently held a gathering to benefit Care House of Macomb. The event at Andiamo Italia in Sterling Heights was entitled “Warm Your Hearts for Kids” and those attending were invited to “spread some love by bringing a stuffed toy for a child in need.” Among those enjoying the festivities were Lyndsay Ott, WLAM treasurer; Annemarie Lepore, president; Laura Marji, secretary; Kristin Stone, immediate past president; Julie Hlywa, director; and Maryanne Deneweth, vice president. Care House is a facility that coordinates the investigation, prosecution and treatment services to victims of child sexual and physical abuse.
