What is your most treasured material possession? My hockey sticks.

What advice do you have for someone considering law school?  It can be very rewarding; but if you are not sure you want to be a lawyer, it is an awful lot of debt to take on.

If you weren’t a lawyer, what would you be?  English teacher.

Favorite local hangouts:  Dominick's, Law Library, U-M Golf Course, Knight's.

Your proudest moment(s) as a lawyer? Winning a trial for a friend, which allowed him to keep a bed and breakfast that had been in his family for years.

What is your happiest childhood memory? Playing catch with my dad.

Which things do you not like to do?  Respond to interrogatories, only slightly less than I like propounding them.

What would surprise people about your job?  People can never believe that “construction law” is an actual practice area.

What’s the best advice you ever received?  You should always have a plan; the plan can change, but you should always have one.

What place won’t you return if you can help it?  Daytona Beach for spring break/motorcycle week.

What do you drive? What would you drive if money were no object?  I drive a Chevy Malibu, or our minivan.  I always wanted a Jaguar growing up — complete with the cool hood ornament.

Favorite place to spend money: Nicola’s; PJ’s Records.
