The New Lawyers Committee (NLC) of the Oakland County Bar Association hosted its Summer Splash event on Thursday, Aug. 21, at Como’s in Ferndale. The event kicks off the NLC’s fund raising efforts which will support Pets for Vets this year. Among those happy to gather for some summer socializing in support of charity were (front row, left to right) NLC director Megan McGown with Law Offices of Lee & Correll; Sandy MacDonald; NLC director Candace Yono of Cohen, Lerner, & Rabinovitz PC; NLC Chair Syeda Davidson of Burgess & Sharp; NLC Programs Vice-Chair Sarah Harwood of Abbott Nicholson PC; Colleen Worthen; Tanya Cripps; and Tom Howlett of the Googasian Firm PC; along with (back row, left to right) NLC director Jake Cunningham of the Oakland County Circuit Court; Gerald Gleeson of Miller, Canfield, Paddock, & Stone PLC; and NLC Public Relations Vice-Chair Jonathan Martone with Clark Hill PLC.
