WSU Law School’s annual Ambulance Chase 5K

Wayne State University Law School’s annual Ambulance Chase 5K pokes fun at the stereotype of the ambulance-chasing lawyer and helps support a good cause. This year’s event will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, and starts and finishes in front of the law school, 471 W. Palmer St. Participants begin by actually “chasing” an ambulance. The 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) walk/run, now in its 29th year, laps parts of the campus on sidewalks. Registration fee is $25 for WSU students or $35 for others. The entry fee includes a T-shirt and a post-race barbecue dinner outside the law school. On race day, participants are asked to check in at the registration table in the law school’s Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium between 5 and 6 p.m. Register for the event online at law.wayne.edu/ambulance2014, and include T-shirt size.
