SBM Business Law Section to host educational session

The State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section will host a Business Boot Camp II educational session in Plymouth in January.
Business Boot Camp II is a two-day educational session that will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 22-23 at the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth. Business Boot Camp II is a continuation of the Business Boot Camp I basic training program, designed to train younger business lawyers, and lawyers new to the practice of business law. The program is also beneficial for law students and paralegals.
Day one of the session will feature Justin Klimko speaking about "Stock Options and Other Equity-Based Compensation," Lisa Sommers Gretchko speaking about "Personal Property/Article 9/Creditors Rights," Jeffrey Fraser speaking about "Executive Employment Agreements and Employment Law," Mark Lezotte speaking about "Non-Profit Organizations," and Timothy Damschroder and David Foltyn speaking about "Select M & A Negotiated Acquisitions (Part 1)."
Day two of the session will feature Susan Kornfield speaking about "Intellectual Property," William Kingsley speaking about "Understanding Financial Statements," Melissa Collar speaking about "Real Estate," Scott Hubbard speaking about "Environmental," and Eric Lark and Daniel Minkus speaking about "Select M & A Negotiated Acquisitions (Part 2)."
The session costs $80 for law students, $220 for individual attorneys, and $1,000 for firms (up to 15 participants from each firm will be covered under this cost).
