Attorney Cynthia Ward to discuss utility shut-off protection

The Davis-Dunnings Bar Association will host a "The Law In Brief" presentation on utility shut-off protection, 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, at Lansing Board of Water & Light's REO Town Depot located at 1201 South Washington Ave., Lansing.
Attorney Cynthia Ward will discuss Michigan's laws protecting consumers from utility service disconnections. Representatives from the Lansing Board of Water & Light and Consumers Energy will also be present to discuss their respective shut-off protection programs. The event is free and open to the community.
