Retirement party planned for Bob West on Dec. 12

 A retirement celebration for long-time Senior Assistant City Attorney Bob West will be held 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12, in the Justice Center Jury Assembly Room, 15th District Court, 4th floor, 301 E. Huron, Ann Arbor. 

Light refreshments will be served.
West, 62, is retiring after 20 years at the 15th District Court. The Ann Arbor native is a graduate of Pioneer High School, earned his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University, and his law degree from the University of Toledo.
He spent 10 years working for the Washtenaw County Public Defender's Office, and then worked as a trial lawyer for the law firm of Bishop & Shelton, before joining the City Attorney’s office.
