Gray, Linkner, Post join Varnum Law
Varnum is pleased to announce the addition of three experienced attorneys to the firm. Charles F. Gray and Adam M. Linkner have joined the firm's Metro Detroit office, and Eric R. Post has joined the firm's office in Grand Rapids.
Gray is an intellectual property lawyer with significant experience drafting and prosecuting patents in various fields, including the automotive and medical industries, experienced in trademark prosecution, IP litigation, and drafting software and other agreements. He joins the firm from McDonald Hopkins. He previously worked as an electrical engineer at Herman Miller, Inc.
Linkner is a corporate attorney with an emphasis on startup companies, contracts and general business law and a strong background in antitrust/competition matters, including assisting with investigations. He joins from DC’s Arnold & Porter.
Post is a business and corporate attorney with clients in auto-
motive, retail, manufacturing and health care industries. He also provides general estate and succession planning services for business clients. He joins from Scholten Fant, Grand Haven.
“The addition of these three experienced attorney... reflects the growing needs of our clients and the expansion of various practice areas,” said Executive Partner Tom Kyros.
A total of 25 attorneys have joined Varnum in the past 22 months. The firm also announced a planned opening of a new Detroit location for the beginning of 2015, bringing the number of Michigan offices to six.
