NEW YORK (AP) — Sirius XM said Wednesday that it topped its 2014 subscriber goals.
The satellite radio company said that it had 1.75 million net subscriber additions last year, beating its outlook for 1.5 million net additions. Sirius XM Holdings Inc. ended 2014 with 27.3 million subscribers.
The company said self-pay net additions were 1.44 million. This topped its 2014 guidance for 1.25 million self-pay net additions.
Sirius XM also announced that it expects to beat its 2014 revenue outlook. The company previously predicted revenue of $4.15 billion for the year. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $4.17 billion in revenue.
For 2015, Sirius XM anticipates about 1.2 million net subscriber additions and revenue of approximately $4.4 billion. Analysts predict revenue of $4.5 billion.
The New York company expects to announce its complete fourth-quarter and full-year results on Feb. 5.
