Also taking part in the program were (front row, left to right) Euel Kinsey, Alexandra Nicholaides, Agnes Hagerty, Bryan Levy, UDM Law Dean Phyllis L. Crocker, Wayne County 36th District Court Judge Wanda Evans, Greg Ulrich and Charles Rutherford; along with (middle row, left to right)?Susan Gillooly, Joseph Golden, Robert Hindelang, Jim Hewson, Anne McLaughlin, Lynn Dodge, and UDM Law Professor Larry Dubin; in addition to (back row, left to right) Mark Wisniewski, Eric Straus, Wayne County Probate Court Judge Terrance Keith, Mary Schmitt Smith, Kevin Moffatt and Jim Walle. Professionalism and ethics are stressed in every aspect of the career and professional development curriculum. UDM Law has partnered with the State Bar of Michigan since 2011 to present Professionalism in Action, a program which pairs prominent lawyers and judges with incoming law students in small groups to discuss the importance of civility and work through a series of ethical and professionalism hypotheticals. This program provides an opportunity for interaction between first-year law students and veteran lawyers and judges, and is a key component of the Introduction to Law Orientation sessions for 1L students.
