Wilkinson joins Miller Johnson employment and labor section

Miller Johnson is pleased to welcome Mark S. Wilkinson as a Member in the Kalamazoo office.  He will represent and counsel clients on all aspects of labor and employment law, focusing on employment litigation and labor relations.

Wilkinson’s employment practice includes the firm’s health care group and the wage and hour practice.  His experience will be used in union negotiations and arbitrations, as well as union avoidance and labor-management relations. He came to Miller Johnson from Franczek Radelet in Chicago, where he was a partner and represented employers in federal/state courts, and before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, and other administrative bodies.  He was named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in employment and labor in 2012-2015.

Wilkinson earned his B.A. from Western Michigan University, magna cum laude, in 2001 and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, cum laude.  Following law school, he did a clerkship with the Honorable Richard A. Enslen, U.S. District Court Judge for the Western District.  He is admitted in both Michigan and Illinois, and in federal court.
