The Washtenaw County Bar Association will hold its annual meeting, awards dinner and election on Thursday, April 16, at Weber's Inn, 3050 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor. A social hour at 5:30 p.m. will be followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
The proposed slate includes: President, Gregory L. Dodd; President Elect, Elizabeth Kitchen-Troop; Vice President, Orlando Simón; Treasurer, Elizabeth Jolliffe; Secretary, Mark Jane; and Directors at Large Colleen Currie, Paul Fessler, Rebecca Shiemke, and Daniel Troyka.
Steven Hill from the 15th District Sobriety Court will be honored with the Liberty Bell Award; Professor Elizabeth Campbell from the University of Michigan Law School Human Trafficking Clinic will be honored with the Patriot Award; and James Walsh from Bodman PLC will be honored with the Professionalism and Civility in the Practice of Law Award.
Guests are welcome. The cost is $39 per person. The reservation deadline is Friday, April 10.
