The Salvation Army William Booth Legal Aid Clinic and the Legal Aid and Defender Association Inc. (LAD) is conducting a child support help program on Saturday, April 18, at the Detroit Public Library, 5201 Woodward Ave.
The event is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. in the “Friends Auditorium.”
An information session will be held on programs scheduled in the community as well as an overview of the Michigan Legal Self Help Center.
Volunteer attorneys will assist in completing motion packets and provide some legal direction on child support, parenting time, and custody issues.
Child support professionals will be on site to register participants on the MiChildSupport website and show how to check child support payments online.
